CourseTrax is a application specially designed to help eliminate scheduling conflicts with student enrollment and aid academic advisors on which courses students want to take. Today's students take many courses at the same time and often have scheduling conflicts. With CourseTrax, each student selects all of the classes they want to take in a given session. This data is run against the institutions course catalog and notifies academic advisors, department heads and registrars as to which classes each student wants to take. CourseTrax helps to identify better student schedules to eliminate as many scheduling conflicts as possible for each student while staying within given constraints. Primary functions of CourseTrax include Schedule optimization, Tracking degree progress, Checking demand for a course / instructor, and Planing course schedules years out based on student-derived demand
